At a Glance: The best rhythm section in Boston. Period. They are masters of all styles of music, but when it comes to laying down the Funk…nobody does it better. Members of this group have performed throughout the world with such high profile artists as Rick James, Marky Mark, Roberta Flack, the Wu Tang Clan, Jimmy Cliff, Brian McKnight, Maceo Parker, T-Bone Burnett, and Walter Beasley. Members have also performed on Saturday Night Live and Late Night With Conan O’Brian.

Track Record: Flipside has performed at weddings for high profile clients, including Jack Welch (CEO of General Electric) & Suzy Wetlaufer, and Elizabeth Filarski (The View / Survivor) & NFL quarterback Tim Hassleback. They are one of the only groups to perform live on the field at Boston’s Fenway Park (Jane Doe Foundation Fundraiser organized by the Boston Red Sox and their wives). They were also the band of choice for the 20th Anniversary Party for the NACE (an organization comprised of Boston’s Top Hotel executives), the Rhode Island Black Heritage Society Ball, and Boston Ballet 50th Anniversary Gala.
